Welcome to hackUST 2023!
HKUST Entrepreneurship Center is proud to announce the return of another record-breaking hackUST 2023 with more attractive prizes this year!
hackUST is an annual hackathon at HKUST since 2014 which aims at cultivating student innovation and entrepreneurship through providing a platform for both technical and non-technical students with a like-minded interest to tackle problems with creative ideas and solutions.
The hackUST is more than a platform for the students to tackle problems but a platform with a pool of talents with an entrepreneurial mindset who are potential candidates sought after by organizations that are looking for new recruits and creative solutions adaptable for their operations.
With 8 years of development, the hackUST + hardUST has become the largest hackathon held in the Greater China region. It is also one of the most sought-after hackathons by university students around the world.
The registration phase has closed. Those who have created an account have successfully registered.
Only those eligible participants will receive further instructions from 13 March 2023
on how to create or join a team!

Final Presentation
The top 10 teams will be shortlisted for the final round! Each team that enters the final round will be required to pitch in REAL-TIME to our final judges within 8 minutes, followed by a 7-minute Q&A.
Announcement of the top 10 finalists will be made on 20 April 2023. Each team will have a week's time to revise the pitching deck before competing in the final presentation dated 29 April 2023.
